When practicing your jumps, do them in a series or sequence. For example, do 2 toe touches in a row then work up to adding on a front hurdler or tumbling skill. It is best to think about your performance / competition routine because their is usually a jump sequence in it. As such, use your jump practice time and work on the sequence you will be using in your routine. This way, when competition season starts, you already have one skill done!
